Yes, please can one of you Verizon Touch Diamond owners help us VOgue owners out. It appears your stock ROM has some stuff that would help ROM development on OUR platform.

You should be able to, as I have a feeling(just a guess, nothing more) a ROM dump is needed for an unlocker as well.

Hey Tobeychris, any chance that you will be building an unlocker and kitchen/roms for the Verizon Diamond?

Im hearing that there wont be any development for it and if thats the case then I am not going to get one and will probably get a Touch Pro instead, but I really want the Diamond.

I am kind of in the same boat. I am not really into big phones. I don't know if the tp2 will be a size I'll be happy with and if not the diamond might be an option. But I really have no desire to get it if it can't be unlocked.

What goes into creating an unlocker?

To all those that want to get the GPS to working. Basically you need to call Verizon tech support! I called and the rep was convinced that the GPS was unlocked and when she checked on an actual test diamond it didn't work... I think if they start getting phone calls they will get the message. At this point I don't think they are aware that its even locked. They are in the mindset that they don't lock phones anymore because its unlocked on the Omnia and Storm. If the tech can't figure it out try having them talk to engineering, like I did. They will be getting back to me in the next couple days. I can't guarantee instant results but at least they will get the point and have to make a desicion. Anyway hope either we can get Verizon to unlock it or someone can figure it out.
