Possible screen problem

OK you all are probably going to hate me for mentioning this but I just have to ask.

Turn off your diamond screen. Look at your diamond screen at a very low angle with a good light in the background. Make sure the screen is clean first. Does anybody see a shimmering of red, green and purple that is in the perfect shape of a rectangle inset about half an inch from all four sides of the screen? You don't notice it when you are looking at the screen directly. See image link.

The only reason I mention this is because I had to get my first diamond replaced back in January because the magnet that was holding the stylus kept popping out. They immediately gave me a refurbished diamond. When I looked at it under the lights in the store i noticed the same problem with the screen. When I showed it to the salesman he didn't know what to think of it and they ended up giving me a brand new diamond in the box. We took the new diamond out of the box and inspected it. No shimmering in the middle of the screen when looking at it from a low angle. So I took it home and have been using it ever since. Well, just yesterday, I noticed the shimmering. Now, I have never dropped my diamond or banged it into anything. Just normal everyday use. Is this normal for everybody or am I the only one on crack. Seems to me the problem is in the touch screen because you can take the screen protector off and still see it. Even after cleaning it.

I am just really curious if this is happening on other peoples diamonds since 2 of the 3 that I have seen have this problem now. Thnx.

*edited process*
1. turn off screen
2. clean screen (you do not have to take off the protector)
3. look at the screen at an angle with a good light reflecting off of the screen (it's more difficult to see under sunlight)
4. do you see a rectangle inset about half an inch from all sides in the middle of the screen filled with kaleidoscope of colors?

I think I've heard people say it's from the body heat.

Re: Possible screen problem

Looks like the oily residue underneath the screen, there's a big topic over on the touch pro forums about this.
