Pictures PC->Diamond woes

Hey all,
I just got a diamond and was croping pictures of my friends to add as contact pictures and I came through a few oddities.
First, when I upload my pictures and go to view them by clicking on the camara and it shows a preview in 3d like form. It shows the original pre-cropped image. Once I click on it and it to view the picture it shows the cropped image that I uploaded.
Second, When I go to contacts and use the change picture option and the picture browser comes up... it shows nothing under my pictures in either my device not internal storafe. But it does show a grid where the pictures would be (exact number of pictures). I click inside the grids but nothing opens up.

Any help would be appreciated and I did try to search for this but didnt find anything of use. But will gladly read anything useful if im directed to it.

have you flashed your phone to a custom rom?? if so you might want to ask in that forum for the best help!! If not i would suggest you do because there are MANY benefits

I have not. I still have whatever sprint ships it out with Windows Mobile 6.1. Ill read up on the custom roms and see if it will be worth the effort. Thank you.

Could be that they are saved in the My Documents or DCIM folder instead?
