it's much better than previous releases but to me it still misses the mark. rendering is good but on some sites its just never stops and it still occasionally crashes. it has flash support but much the same as opera, not reliable. the new opera is better version 15613.

Firefox's Gecko is already heavy as heck on desktop. I wonder how it'll fare on a phone running Fennec?
Oh, and calling Iris Browser "Safari" is inaccurate. Even though they share the same rendering engine, that's where the resemblance ends. Iris could take a lot of optimizing, as it seems to take forever to download a page. Rendering is rather quick though. I hope they will further improve the browser; I smell great potential here. |
