Htc active sync help

Ok, i have recently ordered my htc diamond on ebay. Sadly it is used and doesnt come with the software i need for active sync. is there a way to get it working without having to buy it. thanks

PS: i am also new to this site, srry for being of topic but how to do you get repution. thanks
