Re: wmwifirouter and diamond

Version 1.30 is now available wmwifirouter.com I am running 1.25 without issue. Runs great. The new version fixes issues with the Samsung Omnia and other devices. It also has a roaming alert and other additional tweaks. I will probably upgrade even though 1.25 is running fine. I could always switch back if there are issues with the new version.

Be careful. They may go after people who are over 5GB for the month.

Re: wmwifirouter and diamond

The issue that may arise is that by you using that much data,Sprint can figure out that you are tethering and that if you are not paying for Phone as Modem they may consider that a violation. Even if there is no cap on cellular data use but I think the 5gb cap applies to cellular data use as well as the air card. There may be an exception regarding the Unlimited Simply Everything Plan but that has been discussed in other threads. Sprint has been known to send letters out regarding notification of the 5gb data cap overage use. Don't want to be greedy

Internal Sprint Memo
"Sprint reserves the right to limit throughput speeds or amount of data transferred and to deny, terminate, modify, or suspend service if usage exceeds 5GB per month in total or 300MB/month while off-network roaming. Check your subscriber agreement rights on Sprint.com"
