Diamond GPS suddenly died

My Telus CDMA diamond worked fine up until a few days ago. The GPS totaly died.
Was running mighty 4.5.5. So I tried an earlier version, telus stock rom, many many hard resets and still no joy. I have googled, and read about 3 million posts. I have turned every setting off and on, performed every tweak and reg edit i could find. Still nothing

Google maps cannot lock onto a sat. It can see the receiver but cannot see the sats.

Does anybody have any last suggestions?
