Re: What are the "must have's" for the Diamond?

BeyondPod if you're into podcasts at all.

MusicID, Google Maps, and GWatch (stopwatch/timer) are my essentials.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...38999&page=396

I posted some apps, cabs and manila files that are pretty useful on that page in the mighty rom thread.

Hope they help some people;

Re: What are the "must have's" for the Diamond?

i would like a app that can play streams like this:

mms://a367.l1982412366.c19824.g.lm.akamaistream.net/D/367/19824/v0001/reflector:12366?auth=caEaIbTaMaOaZaUc.bGaEaRcvbEcJ c2dAc4-bjH4Eq-4q-PM2V8_1nmDGpo2EAnjytxq&aifp=1234&CPROG=SIMULCAST&M ARKET=NEWHAVEN-CT&MNM=1&NG_FORMAT=newstalk&NG_ID=weli960am&OR_NEW SFORMAT=&REQUESTOR=WELI-AM&SERVER_NAME=www960welicom&SITE_ID=1134&STATION_ ID=WELI-AM

I can play this fine on windows media player ( desktop version ) but the wm6.1 it will not play.. tried sevral players out but still cant play it ..

Re: What are the "must have's" for the Diamond?

Hmm all these apps are nice for the diamond. I would like to add something to the equation that is not app related. A bigger battery cause like we all know you wont get to enjoy much of the features if your not near a charger (at least from my experience).

o yea and palringo is dope for IM!

Ya I have used TC and its not a bad app, what is so great about the resco programs is that they are fast and very easy to use with your fingers...I would be hard pressed to go back to anything else after having used them.

Re: What are the "must have's" for the Diamond?

OP take some time to properly condition your battery:

For the first week or so, as often as you can run the battery into the ground... dead... to shutdown, and then charge to capacity... repeat...

by the end of the week you'll be getting excellent battery performance. Also note that 1 week is just the minimum suggestion for this... longer = better.
