Any1 know a good screen rotate/Flip application?
 

Hey I'm new to the site. I just bought my HTC Diamond Touch yesterday. I really wish when I text or email I could turn the device sideways and the screen would turn depending on how I hold the device, making it easier for me to compose a message.

Does anyone know of a program I could download, and you could you please direct me to a link where I could download the application.

The only one I have tried so far is Flip IT...

It works fairly well. The only complaint I have is that TouchFlo3D doesn't expand properly when in landscape mode... :disgust:

There are other applications like GSen ( http://s-k-tools.com/index.html?m_util.html#gsen ) and Gyrator ( http://gyrator.brins0.net/ ) which you can try as well.

Just a word of warning that the Search capabilities of the forum are very VERY useful... Saves you all kinds of nasty responses... :twisted:

This all depends on your rom. Look for one that has manila landscape.

Funny you should mention Manilla Landscape... I found it while looking for the links in my post above and it just finished installing...

All I can say is.... AWESOME! =)
No more squished TF3D!

I saw it on a HTC Pro and made a mental note to see if it was avail for the Diamond when I had a chance... Very nice!


The one negative... It whacked my Progams tab icons and my Weather setup when I installed it... Oh well... small price to pay!

I tend to use it by removing all the defaults and creating entries for only the programs I want to rotate. I found the other way around I end up having a ton of exception rules (or "events").
