backlight randomly come on? :(

My vogue used to have problems with lighting up when nobody was calling and it frustrated me to no end but now I have the diamond and I didn't expect to have to deal with this same crap! So.. I was hoping someone might know how to help me? its also constantly running down my battery.

Side question: Where can I find OEM fitting screen protector? The one that came with the phone got messed up in my pocket somehow.
