eBay not a good place to buy accessories

I just bought a pouch case and a car mount holder from 2 different sellers at ebay. Both listings mentioned that the items will fit the CDMA sprint touch diamond.

When I received the accessories, I found both items were not good. The pouch case is for HTC Touch. So it is very tight to put a touch diamond in. The car mount holder is for GSM Diamont not for Sprint Diamond. Sprint Diamond is thicker than GSM Diamond and can not be put into the car mount holder.

Now I have given up the idea to buy a battery from eBay for my dimond....

I bought a car mount from Hong Kong and it obviously was for the GSM so I was excited when I found the CDMA Sprint car mount on igonemobile.com! Unfortunately, it also does not work and seems to be GSM as well. Go figure...

Is there an affordable car mount for the CDMA (Telus) Diamond?

In regards to EBay batteries - a big no no. Most of them do not report back the battery charge percentage to TF3D.

i got a usb docking station form daydeal.com and double sided taped it to my dash. Works really well, it is a charger and i can use the touch screen with ease.

eBay is a great place to buy accessories..... if you're smart and know how to spot the good stuff from the bad stuff.

I got an ebay car mount, too, which turned out to be gsm, but I found that if I remove the battery cover it's just thin enough to fit. Might be annoying if I used it every day, but I don't need satnav to get to work.

i made my own car mount.. i got these magnets from my car insurance company when i signed up. they're cheap, comes with a metal plate that has a sticker on one side... put the metal circular plate on the back of your phone, and then the magnet on your car, and it holds the phone. the metal plate fits behind the battery cover of both the diamond and touch pro, down on top of the battery, and i made a little metal bracket like that [ that holds the phone from moving from side to side and stuck it to the dash with doublesided tape. now i just throw my phone onto the magnet and its held tightly.

Its time to clean that Audi out! lol.

I took an old busted clip for my 6800 and hot glued it to my dash (work truck), works perfect.

i basically live in my car, so.. i need things accessible without too much thought. i have the upper clip for my ipod, and then my phone below.. but yeah, i should clean it. its not worth it though, it'll just get full of water bottles and coffee cups.. thats really all that accumulates. it's sad really.

^ I have my car setup the same way. Ipod above, in a windshield mount extending just under my rearview mirror, and the phone below in a universal vent clip holder on my vents. Gotta have the phone closest
