im very interested into getting this onto our diamonds. but yes i agree you should try out a lg forum board. only thing is i dont know how many people on there would be developer minded. i remember when i had my instinct didnt seem to be a whole lot of modding and what not

I am going to also hijack this thread since everyone else is too. I use PocketCM v.14 and have made a new VGA compatible skin and layout. It is finger friendly, easy to use, and best of all it is free.

I edited the PCM skin and layout that I had. Skin is now dark and layout is a little more useful. Check the pics below, and if you are interested download the PCM keyboard v.14 in the link above and istall on phone. Download attached zip and extract files to the PCM folder in program files. Go to settings>input. Select PCM and hit options. Select Mr HawaiI skin fron skin dropdown box. Select Mr_Hawaii layout from layout dropdown box. Then enjoy.

Mr. Hawaii, that's awesome.. the thing I like about the LG one is that you can see several lines of text on the landscape version.. any way you can make that happen? This is really nice, thank you for your hard work!

I can try to make it less taller, but keep in mind it will make the keys smaller thus less finger friendly. The LG Incite screen is a little longer than the Diamond's, so it can afford to have the shorter keyboard because the keys can then be wider. But I will try to make it shorter and post it as soon as I can. Maybe it will work for you, I think my fingers would be too big.

You can try this, I reduced the height by about 20%. You should be able to see about 2-3 lines now (depending on text size you set). Looks and feels pretty good. Portrait mode is a little hard though. Layout is the same file, only skin has changed.

the skin looks great! but the incite has that cool fullscreen thing that gives you even more space for the keyboard! But in the mean time i guess ill try your skin! thanks ^_^
