Battery life suddenly NONEXISTENT

I have had my Diamond for a few months now but within the last few days (~Friday 13), I noticed my battery is not lasting AT ALL anymore. What I mean is, 4 hours after taking off charger and it's at 1% with NO use AT ALL and it complains "The battery is critically low" (aka if I try to do anything, it will practically stop me).

What caused this because I have now hard resetted so as to improve the battery in case something was running? When I took the phone off the charger ~9:15pm (21:15), it was losing 1% from 100-->93% every minute. I then put the phone to sleep and since, it has sat at 91% like a normal phone should, not sucking up my battery 1% every minute.

How could this be and what can I do?
