Can't get rid of deleted picture mail
 

I've got several items in the deleted folder of my picture mail folder. I went to Tools>Empty Deleted Items, but it is greyed out. I tried deleting each one individually, but I get a pop up saying that the message cannot be deleted. The Clear Sprint Picture Mail is also greyed out. Anyone have any thoughts?

OK, this is weird. I'd already tried the suggestion made in the post you referenced and I could not open the messages anymore, once they were actually in the delete items folder. But, I did a soft reboot and went back in.... When I clicked on menu this time there was a "new" selection of Delete All. This was not in the Tools menu, but was there as a separate menu item. After selecting Delete All they were all cleared out of the Deleted Items folder. (theme to Twilight Zone plays gently in the background)
