Increased Battery Performance On Sprint

Hey guys,

WOW. I have found a way to get an incredible amount of battery life from my Sprint Diamond. Last week I decided to give Winterface a shot and disabled TF3D. Now while it looks boring, I have found the battery life to be way better. I last charged the phone on friday afternoon at work about 5pm, and the thing did not warn me about a low battery until about 10pm Sunday night. That's with making fairly normal amount of calls, checking email regularly, taking a few photos and surfing lightly on the web. I will report back if things change but so far Im thinking wow I love Winterface

Wow... disabling an intense graphics program on a computer will make it draw less power?

Re: Increased Battery Performance On Sprint

good tip. But I just as soon keep tf3d. Its one of the reasons I got the phone and with active sync set to sync once every hour (work hours), I get descent battery life for a day which is fine. That's with a good amount of data usage as well. Put the phone on the charger at night and repeat process.

This forum wouldn't be the same without your crabby-pants comments.

Really, it gets fairly old, especially raggin' on a guy who was trying to help.

Uh actually I have to agree with Tobey... I mean there are several threads already that say that TF3D disabled improves the battery life. And it was more funny than mean I thought.

the person has 9 posts. Probably new. Sifting through this forum can be a daunting task and a little frustrating.

He found something he thought could help the community. Guy didn't need to be made a joke of. Save that for the vets of the board who keep asking where something is.
