OCN8 is igo, but is it newer or the same thing? I'm using OCN8 with no issues on my sprint diamond

This also happens to mine.. Its works fine if I start up Google maps first, but I dont want to do that since it uses data and i travel from Canada to the US all the time. I tried using the astroGPS by starting that first and then started OCN8 (Igo8) but still the same problem.

Anybody have a solution yet that doesnt require starting Google maps first?

Do a search for GPS Viewer and try that. It starts the gps like google, but I haven't had it cut out on me. I used it with IGO 2006 alot and never had any issues. I leave it on, with igo, not sure if you have to leave it on or not. Take note, I've only used IGO8 a few times, but so far so good worth a try.
