How to modify Today plug in behavior

This is not TF3D. I'm using the standard Today with plug-ins.

The action seems to be located at HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Today/Items

I found a reg hack where one can make an unmovable plug in movable.

I'm interested in tweaks where it would keep a plug in from using the scroll bar when it runs out of room. Example: When the Calendar plug in has more than one appointment and goes beyond the default screen, it will spawn a scroll bar. How do I disable this?

There are "Flags", "Type", and "Option" values. I presume one of those will change the behavior of the plug in since some plug ins do not "participate" in the scroll bar when it appears.
