Blown speaker?
 

Well, I loaded a new custom ROM this morning (I load them all the time), and noticed that I wasn't getting any sound from the device. I could make a call, and hear everything just fine, but all other systems sounds weren't working. I thought it might be an issue with the ROM I loaded. So I loaded up another ROM, and it is doing the same thing.

I think the speaker may have blown. I can actually make a call, and hear everything fine through the headset speaker. But if I change to speaker phone, there is no sound. If I start playing music with the headset plugged in, everything works just fine. The second I pull out the headset, there is no sound at all.

Has anyone else seen this? I tried Googling, but couldn't find anything.

You're not alone, my first did the same thing. Took it in and got a brand new one. Just making sure you flash back to stock rom and relock the damn thing, some sprint employees are you know what :)

Yep, got it swapped out today (and I did relock and reload stock). I have insurance, but for some reason they did a 30-day exchange even though I have had the phone way longer than 30 days??? I wasn't going to complain or say anything though :). The dude was actually really cool. He let me keep my old battery too. So now I have an extra.
