Got the correct version of mtty. Tried "set 16 0" and tried to flash again, with no success. I'll get a replacement tomorrow.

Thank you all for your help!

I'm not exactly a n00b at flashing ROMs. I've done it on my Diamond a hundred times and am in the process of making my own ROM - but I've got a major issue.

I replaced my Diamond with a new one from TELUS on Wednesday due to some "physical damage" to the old Diamond I had at the hands of an eight-year old. So today, I decide that I obviously want to flash my Diamond with Juicy 3.3. I unlock the Diamond without issue. Next step, load Juicy 3.3. At 17% of the flash process, the RUU stopped working and gave an error. I popped the battery, enter boot loader, tried again - with the same result. Crashed at 17%. I tried flashing the stock TELUS rom located on this forum and that timed out at 7%. At this point, I'm getting extremely angry. I think to myself, "What if I load the relocker and try to load the stock ROM?" So I relock the device and that had no issue getting to 100%. I then try to flash the stock ROM, and it wont get farther than 0%. I now cannot flash the stock ROM, any Juicy ROM or the unlocker application. I've tried doing the restore with VolDown, Power and the center D-Pad which said it was completed successfully but didn't change the fact that the device will not boot.

Someone, anyone, please help. The device right now will not boot and is locked. What can I do next?

how did you unlock your diamond ?mine is stuck at 0% with every rom
os hardspl's.

haha, this thread is from 2008.

Well, are you on vista/windows 7? It is easiest to do on a XP machine. If you can't get access to one, there is a way to get past the 0% errors. It involves replacing the Vista/Windows 7 (Windows Mobile Device Center) usb sync driver with the one from XP (ActiveSync 4.5). You will also have to put your device in bootloader mode (hold back, volume down, and power button when the device is off) when flashing. Go here for more info.

With an XP machine, you don't have to do any of this, except install ActiveSync.
