To add it to the exclusion list:

Add a new event
Hold down on the <NEW EVENT> and click on Orientation
Hold down on the <NEW EVENT> and click edit event
Go to the Application tab, then double tap on Learn Windows Class.
Now this is where you take out your stylus, open up s2u2 (so that it locks the screen and s2u2 appears), and place the stylus back in the holder.
Now go to the Orientation tab and select portrait
Go to the Events tab and select Rotate
Now select Apply
Now on the event you just added, hold down on it and Promote it until it is at the top

EDIT: Posted from my phone before- turns out I somehow deactivated the Gyrator, and once I turned it back on the problem came back
