Loose Part?

Hey, does anyone else have a diamond that sounds like there is a loose part inside of it? The other day i set my diamond down and the top of the phone tapped the binder i put it on. I noticed that it sounded like something was loose inside when it made contact. Now when i tap the top back of the diamond by the camera or speaker something sort of clicks inside of it. Not sure exactly how to explain the sound. Does anyone else's diamond do this or is it something i should bring up with telus?

not that, but a good link nonetheless.

i had the same issue, never figured out what it was but had to swap mine out for other reasons and the new one doesnt have the rattling.

Re: Loose Part?

my first diamond ordered the first week of release does not have rattling sound. I later returned and exchanged for two more. the second one has ratttling sound. I then order a third one and it has the same issue. then I found out that it is not loosing part inside but rather the power button loose.

it is the power button on top which makes this rattling sound. if you hold the power button and shake your diamond, it should be quiet.

but I returned the second and third ones and keep the first one. the white color is whitter on the first one. white is yellowish on the second and third. it seems the lattest diamonds got more quality issues and not consistent.

Haha, you said it before i could. I wish that were what it was, but he Kellybrf is right. It isn't clicking due to the battery cover, it is sort of a click/rattle from within the phone. So far it poses no problems, but if i sign up with a 3 year contract and spend money on telus's best phone, i want it to be 100%. We'll see, maybe i'll flash back to stock telus rom and relock the phone and take it back to telus to see if they will replace it.

Hmm, it isn't the power button. I pressed it in an tried it out, but it still makes the rattle sound.

K, tried securing everything. It is not the volume buttons, the power button, the battery cover, the battery, the stylus or the face buttons. The sound comes internally from the phone. It doesn't make the sound if i shake the phone, only when tapped (like with your index finger).
