Huge problem on all Diamonds?

Have you ever noticed that every other song played on a Diamond hiccups like it was a bad rip? Especially when you're driving. It might also happen more when having connection problems, but I've tried turning the radio off and it only happens LESS (still too much).

This seems like a HUGE problem to me, but I've never read any complaints on this forum. Am I the only one? Or do you not care about music as much as I do...

I guess I feel better knowing that. It's suprising that my worthless Samsung Upstage could play clean music all day long, every day, everywhere.... but my "awesome" Diamond can't get through 2 songs. Is it Windows Mobile? Do other WiMo phones have this problem?

My HTC Vogue did not have this issue.. i would play 100MB audio files at 192kbps bitrate with no problem, or stream from the internet without issue. I just got my diamond on friday and i have the same audio issue as you guys

What cured this problem for me is Juicy's 2.5 rom

I do not have this problem but I also use MortPlayer to play my audio. For those that are having an issue, what player are you using?

I noticed hiccups more when my connection was struggling, but maybe bitrate has something to do with it too...

I was on 2.5 for a while and it still happened. I was so hopeful that Juicy's ROM would fix it, but there's still hope with 2.8. How about Mighty's ROM. Has anyone noticed less hiccups using his? I think I'll try that before Juicy's 2.8 hits later this week.

I have yet to experience this issue with my music at all... using stock rom and stock wmp player

Maybe it's the touchflo player, since I know sprint's stock ROM has this issue. Also, do you drive while listening? If I stay in one place, it rarely happens - just when moving from cell to cell.
