yeah i feel you. android is definately not the biggest thing since sliced bread. but in the geek world lol, it opens up possibilities for more useful and innovative programs. i think that most of us just want to be able to run it on our phones instead of buying that stupid G1. no harm no foul dude, we both been round here for a while so lets keep it moving!

android on the diamond would be awesome to play with, but it would take awhile before it would be "better" than windows mobile because of the lack of apps created so far. I know that since it is so much easier to develop android software that there will be a wide range of creative apps, but look at how many windows mobile programs there are already.. android definitely has some catching up to do... and besides, windows mobile 7 is on its way and who knows what goodies that will bring...

I think I will agree on that. It'sstill a young OS. And Sprint even said that Android for now is not good enough yet to be carried by them. But sprint said that they will carry it in time. But not as of yet.

one good thing about Android is that it wake up Microsoft, the giant. Microsoft will pour money and resource into WM at no cost, even giving out alot of free features which used to be third-party app. Or MS even copy Android features and make that feature better on WM. they did this to Netscape

I am trying hard to give a real expectation to those who got pulled in to "Android" hype.

one more example. remember Firefox (open source)? used to be a new cool thing which happened to browser. it got alot of cool features but MS coppied them all and make those features available in IE. Firefox still does not have that big market share as IE.

or even Linux, open source; people even claimed that linux will take over window. with all the hype, it did not get too far from where it were. MS choked off all of those offense.

now let's get back to Dimamond and Window Mobile, shall we? too much distraction around here.
