ya but everyone is looking for something that they can use to scan things at a store, scanlife wont help you with that. What does the g1 use to compare? Does it just use a google site or do they have there own special price comparison site

Re: Scan bar code with the Diamond

I just set up Barcorama on my Diamond and adjusted the settings found here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=47845. It works great!

Then I saw this thread and changed the google search page to the fastpricecheck url found here.

Awesome! I really like using Fast Price Check because it gives me a link to nicely formatted Amazon reviews as well as price comparisons.

Okay, so I don't know if I've been doing anything wrong, but it says "No Capture" every time I try to take a picture.... and when I try to open one, I get no barcode found. Now, I've flipped the camera every which way, zoomed in, zoomed out, whatever. Changed the resolution down and up and nothing is working. Any ideas? BTW, I've been trying to read the ISBN number off a book, would that be a problem?
