Are u able to take a picture from a different camera and post it to show me what it looks like on your phone. Sprint is telling me that the picmail application is only made to send pics and not configured to receive pics.

Do you have the Sprint Stock Rom or Custom made Rom?

I've had a picture mail account for a long long time. Mine still come through as texts.

I setup a picture mail account and this did work for me. I am now able to recieve picture mail and view them without connecting to the Internet brower.

Did you already have a picmail account? Or was this the first time u set it up?

Odd. I could have sworn when I first got my diamond that picture mails came in as a message (I remember seeing a blue camera type icon @ the top of the screen), now, they come in as texts on mine too.

I've flashed a few custom roms, and back to stock, so I don't know if this has anything to do with it. I did a hard reset awhile ago, and it's still getting incoming picture mails as text messages.

Is there a fix for this?

Oh well, I did the rest via ##786, and still no dice. Incoming picture mail messages come in as a friggin text message.

I've already written a thread on exactly what you need to do to address the issue, did you use the search button? Whatever the case maybe, I am going to help you out. Follow these instructions exactly.
1) You need to either call Sprint, or if your online login into your sprint.com account and chat with one of the reps.
2) Ask them to DROP PICTUREMAIL off your account and do an IOTA. Then readd PICTUREMAIL back onto your account.
3)After this happens they will send you a test picture to your phone, DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT go into your picturemail tab and hit the send/receive in the menu selection
4)Get a confirmation they did the IOTA and re-added the picturemail to your account reboot your Diamond.
5)Your picturemail should now be working. If not just PM me and I will do what I can to help you out.
