Where do I find the password for the ##DEBUG# mode?
I have a Telus ROM on my phone and it asks for a password to get into the field trial mode. Anyone know what the password is or where to find it?
I found the solution to the problem. The password for using ##DEBUG# is 183729 to get into the field trial mode!! |

Its should be 000000 but if Telus is anything like Sprint you'll need to use GetSPC to retrieve your MSL code and thats the code you'll need for Debug mode.

That program has not worked in years. I don't know why folks keep posting it.
The more elaborate method of enabling log files didn't work either. |

Thats funny because I used it to unlock my Sprint phone to put on Alltel:)

It doesnt work that great on the diamonds. Ive tried. It works on the Mogul and Touch but not the diamonds. It works for some, not all people. I was one of them. I called tech support and asked for mine. I wrote it down so Idont need to ask for it anymore.

Re: Where do I find the password for the ##DEBUG# mode?
In the input section you put your ESN# (all caps) then hit the button and your MSL# will appear in the output section.
Juggalo X, 000000 is what Alltel and Verizon use as their MSL#. Which is also the code to get into most debug and programming menus for those companies. As for Sprint and I'm guessing Telus they program their phones with an "unknown" MSL#. Once you obtain this number you'll want to use that as the code for any of the debug or programming menus. Some people have had luck getting this from the company but most have not been able to. This program is great cuz all the info you need is your ESN# and it will give you whatever your MSL# is. |
