Sprint powerdeck site in Opera won't detect my Diamond
After a hard reset followed by 2 soft resets (so that I could only install only the .cabs I wanted), when I navigate via Opera to http://powerdeck.sprint.com, the site shows "My Sprint Unknown Unknown PPC" instead of the usual "My Sprint HTC Touch Diamond". In PIE the site seems to recognize my device. Anyone know how to get Opera and powerdeck.sprint.com to recognize my device again?

Same thing happened when I was using Juicy's rom. Don't really think it's a big deal.

Re: Sprint powerdeck site in Opera won't detect my Diamond
I'm using the stock sprint rom. Opera is my browser of choice and I'd like to be able to check for updates right from the sprint powerdeck site. When the site doesn't recognize my device it also tells me there are no available updates. However, when I use PIE the site recognizes my devices and lets me know that an update to picture mail is available. It's just a pain, that's all. Thought maybe someone would know how to fix it.

I'm using the stock rom and i'm having the same problem and I think its because of the theme tweak. Not 100% sure on that, but that may be it.

Re: Sprint powerdeck site in Opera won't detect my Diamond
I think it might have something to do with my user agent string. Can someone tell me what their stock sprint rom user agent string is plz? The easiest was for me to check was to go to useragent.org, but I'm sure there are plenty of other ways. Mine says "Opera/9.5(Microsoft Windows; PPC; Opera Mobi/1907; U; en)" with no mention of my device.

Open Opera and go to opera:config, then check your Custom User Agent setting under the user prefs section. Mine is "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.11) Sprint MP6950SP" (no quotes)

Re: Sprint powerdeck site in Opera won't detect my Diamond
Looks like that did it. I changed my custom user agent to "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.11) Sprint MP6950SP" and now the sprint site correctly recognizes my device as My Sprint HTC Touch Diamond. Thanks again, 8notime. I know it wasn't a big deal, but it was really bugging me.
