Diamond defaulting to "internal memory," any fixes?

My (stock firmware) Diamond keeps defaulting to "internal memory" which is the 96MB of storage memory--not the 4GB of program memory. This is happening on the browser, camera (111 pictures left?!), and other applications. I went into the camera options, but the option to change where to save the pictures is an option that I apparently cannot edit.

Anyone know a fix here?

If you hook the Diamond up to your computer, does the internal storage show up as a disk drive?

If so, I would try a hard reset. If that doesn't work, with the Diamond connected to the computer in Disk Drive mode, right click on the drive and select Format. Format the 4GB internal storage as FAT32. If your computer is freezing when you select the drive, format the disk from the command prompt (start > run > cmd.exe > format (driveletter):

I followed all the above instructions, and the camera is still defaulting to the 96MB segment. I still have no access to the option to change which drive it saves to.

Having two available drives in the first place is a really weird decision.

Internal storage is the name for the 4GB of storage on the Diamond...

...then why can I only take 100 pictures on it? I also, earlier, got a "your storage memory is dangerously low" error come up--for some odd reason, the Diamond is choosing to save onto the smaller storage.

Is your internal 4GB storage being recognized at all?

Goto /Settings/System/Memory/ and click on the "Storage Card" tab, if it says "unavailable" then you're gonna have to format it like one of the previous users stated. I'd goto Settings/System/Clear Storage and choose "Format internal storage only". After that in Settings/System/Memory/Storage Card tab, It should say "Total storage card memory: 3832.50 MB" and a drop down menu with "Internal Storage" as the only choice.

I selected to format the internal storage only.

"The Mass Storage cannot be accessed."

The worst part is that I bought this from JBC Nextel on eBay--so Sprint will most likely not replace my phone, and HTC will give me the runaround.

Hard Reset, Choose "Clear storage and format internal storage"
