Re: Yahoo Mobile 3.0 on the Diamond

Cant seem to find 3.0 for the Diamond so if anyone finds it PLEASE post the .cab (my fantasy football team would gladly appreciate it).

I did try to install Yahoo! Go 2.0 with success but once ran i have trouble just selecting the language and had to remove it as it was useless unfortunately.

The HTC Diamond is not on their list of compatible devices.

Re: Yahoo Mobile 3.0 on the Diamond

I put my number in the Yahoo mobile website and they sent me a text with a link. Haven't tried it yet trying to get ready to coach my football game tonight. So can someone else try.

Re: Yahoo Mobile 3.0 on the Diamond

it's not compatible, it's still qvga rez only. I tried downloading it right after I got my diamond but since its not VGA compatible I didn't waste my time installing it

Re: Yahoo Mobile 3.0 on the Diamond

I put Yahoo 3.0 on my titan and everytime it gets to the login screen it crashes... Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still the same bs... Don't know if it doesn't like WM6 or not... The link said for WM5... Wasn't sure wtf I was doing wrong.

Re: Yahoo Mobile 3.0 on the Diamond

I've been playing with it today on my Sprint Diamond phone.

It took a handful of crashes to get it installed, then a few crashes in each mode before they "work". Even then, because it's not compatible with the VGA screen, you have to do all kinds of things to refresh the screen just so you can read what's going on. I tend to hit the "Options" link in the lower right corner every time I do something or need a refresh.

I hope they update it, because it's the cleanest way to upload pics from the phone straight to Flickr.

Re: Yahoo Mobile 3.0 on the Diamond

Its annoying, but its doable. Aside from the occasional crash, in order to read any text, you, as the previous poster says, need to keep "refreshing" the screen. Its not as bad as it sounds though. All you really need to do is scroll up or down with the d-pad. Also, when your in the carousal, the d-pad will not work to go left or right, you will need to use the touch screen to drag in either direction (which is annoying because Yahoo Go isn't really built for a sensative touch screen.)
