Diamond Internet Sharing

Whenever i try and use internet sharing with the stock rom i click connect insert the usb cord and it says wating for network and nothing happens. When i was using Juicy's 2.2 it worked fine and the internet sharing actually looked different. So i know it can work. Does anyone have a fix that i can use????? Does the same registry edit that worked for the titan work for this phone???
