Update:

I had some things come up that I was not expecting, which kept me from working on this app both last night and today. I have a few things yet to handle this afternoon and then plan on getting to work on it this evening. Sorry for the delay but thanks for your patience and your support.

Once I get an alpha version completed I will start a new thread in the Software section and will upload it to my server for download. I will then immediately get word out to all of you on where to download it from and will check the new thread regularly for feedback on how it is running.

At this point I am hoping to get it finished up enough to get a version up for everyone to test by tomorrow morning (Sunday). I'll keep this thread updated as I move forward.

This weekend has been the busiest weekend I have had in a long time, so I apologize but I did not get it completed yet. I will see what I can do before tomorrow morning, but I am not going to make any promises.

Sorry, but I don't want to release something that isn't working well or is causing problems with the Diamonds... I just refuse to do something halfway right, if you know what I mean.

Also, darren.wlsn1, you have been added to the list.

Update:

Ok, where do I start? I got it working enough to install last night and thought that I had made some real progress. As soon as it was done installing I started the Configuration and it worked flawlessly. Things were looking good. Then I closed the Configuration and opened the app and it did not work. Damn. So then I started troubleshooting and a couple of hours later figured this much out:

1. It will run if you deactivate TF3D (not cool, I like and use TF3D).
2. It does not always unlock the device, even if you complete the circle (graphic changes to denote it has been unlocked but it does not actually unlock, very frustrating. requires a soft reset to bypass lock at this point).
3. It drained the hell out of my battery (about 60% loss in one hour while it only ran in the background and I was reviewing my code on my PC).

I worked on the code for a little longer, trying to fix the issues that I had found. I tried another version and guess what I got for my trouble? A hard reset. That was about the time when I said "F this thing" and went to bed. I will try working on it more tonight when I get home from my meeting after work (I volunteer at the local juvenile detention center), if I am in the right frame of mind for programming. Otherwise it will have to wait until tomorrow evening.

All in all I am closer than ever but believe me when I say that it is no where close to being ready for any kind of release. I like all of you too much to offer a free, customizable hard reset app to you
