Diamond dropped calls?

Is anyone having a problem with dropped calls. I get them all the time, no matter where I am. Could this be my device and is there anyway to fix this issue? I am new to these types of devices and thought someone might be able to help.

Thanks in advance,

Re: Diamond dropped calls?

I had two 20 minute conversations in the basement of a library on campus here and didn't even have spotty reception which was common on both my touch and my LG rumor. I barely ever have more than two bars but calls are still clear and I haven't had anyone complain that i sounded bad.

Re: Diamond dropped calls?

I've been hit or miss. The signal at my house is atrocious, and I think things are worse with the Diamond than they were with my Mogul.

I will say that otherwise call quality has been excellent. Outside of that known spottiness that I live in, I've been really pleased by reception and sound quality.

But if it's doing that everywhere I might try and talk to someone at Sprint about it.

Re: Diamond dropped calls?

I have seen tremendous improvement with the Diamond over my Touch. In my basement I would drop calls all the time with my Touch unless I held my head just so in that one spot. But with my Diamond I had several calls this weekend and never had one problem, nor heard one complaint from the other party. I have not had a single dropped call yet.

For me, the Diamond is hands down better for reception.

Cool Re: Diamond dropped calls?

Getting constant dropped calls. Have not had a continuous call without multiple drops no matter where I am or what the signal strength is. Compared to my mogul... complete rubbish so far.

Re: Diamond dropped calls?

I've had bad reception, where the call cuts in and out. But it doesn't get dropped, like it did with my Touch. My basement dungeon/cube is particularly bad for both those items.

Re: Diamond dropped calls?

No problems yet. I get Data and Voice signals much better in my bedroom which was previously almost a dead spot with my Touch.

Re: Diamond dropped calls?

None so far, and my Touch frequently dropped calls in my house. So far so good.
