My Diamond won't turn on!

So I received my Diamond via UPS yesterday (dropped the hefty $379.81 and hoping to get back my mail in rebate... lol). I used it for about a day. I installed the original HTC Diamond clock, but other than that, its completely stock.

So here's the scenario. I'm jammin' to some tunes in my ACCT 4102 course while tryin to finish up a spreadsheet so I could put it on my phone (you ain't tryin if you ain't cheatin). All the sudden the it completely cuts off. I thought the battery was dead, but it was only 12:45 this afternoon. I've tried everything to get this blasted phone back on! PLEASE HELP!

Side note: PC still recognizes phone when connected to sync cable. When I try to turn on phone I get a short vibrate but no splash screen... just infinite dark
