Re: Opera Mobile 9.5 "full web experience"
I used the "diamond" version of Opera on my Touch, and it showed all web content, not mobile versions. Now, I have the Diamond, and now certain sites won't show me the full version??? I have the Mobile Version box unchecked in Opera's settings, what did Sprint do? It must be a trick to keep us from eating up bandwidth!
Sprint or Opera, why doesn't the Mobile Version check box work? |

Re: Opera Mobile 9.5 "full web experience"
Google and Sportsline.com default to the mobile version for me and I hate it. If I want the mobile version I'll use IE.

Re: Opera Mobile 9.5 "full web experience"
in the browser goto the address opera:config
Goto the User Prefs Scroll near the middle Change Custom User Agent to: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 6.0; en) Scroll to the very bottom of that section. Hit Save. Browser to a page formerly mobilized. SUCCESS! Last edited by Tiberius85; 09-21-2008 at 11:46 PM. |

Re: Opera Mobile 9.5 "full web experience"
Thanks, it works with Sportsline and CNNMoney but Google still defaults to mobile. Better than where I was.

Re: Opera Mobile 9.5 "full web experience"
I did the fix, cleared cache n cookies, n still no luck. CNN gives me the full page now, but everything else still sees it as a mobile browser. Any other settings we need to change?

Re: Opera Mobile 9.5 "full web experience"
I left the phone tag at the end of it: Sprint MP6950SP
I also had this issue with Google until i cleared the Cache and Cookies, that seemed to fix that page. But every other page ive tried: NYT, CNN, EA, ESPN, all show up in their non-mobile versions. Goto www.dslreports.com/speedtest goto the Simple Test, and hit the Your IP link and verify that the tag is Windows NT and not Windows CE with Mobile IE. |

Re: Opera Mobile 9.5 "full web experience"
Did the test. It ids as what you wrote above. Is the syntax right in that? Like is their supposed to be a ";" after compatible.
Does it matter what the user agent # is? The Sprint tag at the end, is it unique to each phone? I erased mine yesterday when messing around with this. |
