Re: Diamond local weather
I followed the instructions found here - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...official+telus
and added my city which is http://www.accuweather.com/us/ca/nor...u=1&traveler=0 but on my phone it now says its 32 degrees. says 32 is the high and the low. and where its supposed to say clear, rain, cloudy, ect. it says IDS_STATE_0 Anyone else got this to work or can they try my city to see what the problem is? thanks. edit: I tried a few other cities and they all work properly. I guess accuweather just does not like my city. lol. Oh well, Ill find one close to me which is still better than the default ones it comes with. edit #2: now I got North Hills, CA to show up but only after creating another city first. Then it was the f'ed up one and when I created North Hills second, it works properly. Then I deleted the first city that does not work right and I got my city. Weird but atleast I got it to work. edit #3: nevermind. it still does not work. only worked for a few hours. not it still it messed up... Last edited by Curb71; 09-27-2008 at 10:30 PM. |

I had the same problem. When you enter your city it needs to include the zip code. That fixed the problem for me: NAM|US|MO|COLUMBIA|65201 Should work!! |

IDS_STATE_0 error - SOLUTION
Quote:
This problem seems to be associated with cities of two or more words only. Simply remove the hyphen in the city name, and replace it with a space. example: NAM|US|CA|SANTA CRUZ (zip code not needed) Last edited by indagroove; 09-28-2008 at 11:38 AM. |

Re: Diamond local weather
I get the same error you get. I had no problems adding other cities and didn't need a zip code. I wonder if you try the next closest town/area? The weather would likely be the same and you can always leave the name North Hills... just use the link to the city that is closest to you that works.
Well I tried with and without hyphens, I tried Panorama City got the same error results also. I have an added city of my own that is 2 words and it works fine, I simply used the space so its not our typing thats the issue. Something though.. very strange. i wonder if there is a limit to how many cities you can have? That was my 6th city. Last edited by eenieMINI; 09-27-2008 at 11:49 PM. |

Re: Diamond local weather
I tried it too. It's wierd because accuweather has a "North Hills" online. I got frustrated and put in San Fernando and labled it North Hills.
