Scroll wheel goodness

I read somewhere that the capacitive scroll wheel on the GSM Diamond only worked to zoom in on pictures and in Opera. Ive been the curious type and noticed on the Sprint Diamond the scroll wheel working on the Mail Accounts page, the inbox, zooming in on messages including texts, Google maps zooming, and facilitating digital zoom on the camera. Anyone else doing testing on this post your results with programs it works in.

there is a program called diamond tweak that will let u customize what programs the wheel works in.

its about the 3rd program listed, its called diamond tweak, will let u customize just about everything. including tht dumb sms sent notification

yeah i can scroll thru alot of things that i couldnt b4. i soft reset after i made the changes in diamond tweak. try that maybe?

I notice that sometimes, in Opera, instead of zooming the scroll wheel will scroll through the links in the site. Other times, it zooms. I guess this must mean I pushed a button. How do I turn it on/off?

I could never figure this out either.... It would be nice to know how we can switch between the two functions...

I've been trying to figure out why my texts and email text size keeps changing. I guess this is the answer. Now to turn it off for texts and emails.

I would like to use it to scroll up and down in Opera.....Anybody have any luck? It would make Opera that much better..

Have you ever figured out how to do this? It's annoying to have it zoom when you are responding to a message using the on screen keyboard, and while using the buttons to select a word from the prediction box, it instead interprets that as you wanting to zoom.
