YMMV, but I could not get Core Player to work right so I went back to TCPMP...

Yeah, I tested them both last night... I get an error "network not available" with Core Player. TCPMP seems to work ok but I can't find a tremendous advantage over WMP. Maybe just need to explore it a little more.

I would still really like a dedicated Orb client like the iPhone.

IMHO, the biggest advantage of TCPMP over WMP is the ability to fine tune the buffering so that I get smooth, uninterrupted playback.

I bumped mine up but it was still choppy. What do you have your buffer settings at to get smooth playback?

did you set the video driver to RAW instead of direct draw?
That smooths things out for me.
Check that.
