Re: Scratch Protection
For screen protectors, there is only one way to apply...
Turn on your shower, just hot. Close the door, do not use any exhaust. Once it is all steamy, go in, clean the phone with a microfiber cloth. Make sure there are no spots, specs or "crumbs" on the screen. Apply the protector carefully. The steam will cause larger particulates to drop out of the air to prevent the dust. I used the stock screen protector and there are no bubbles at all. If you do have bubbles, but there is no dust in them... just give it time and they will go away. |
Re: Scratch Protection
Update: I received the new batch of detectors and I got fingerprints on the tacky side of 2 of them. I will put on the 3rd protector. Boxwave said I could rinse off the 2 other protectors in water with hand soap and then swing in the air to dry off and try to do this in a dust free environment. I guess I will fly to NASA to do this in a dust free environment. I don' thave my hopes up that this will work but I will try it.

boxwave didn't last 2 months for me. the bottom left corner started to curl upwards slightly after a month. very slightly. but it got a lil more pronounced and then finally enough so it caught on phone pouch taking it in and out and now it's not usable. for what it's worth, i didn't quite the same scratching issue as Biker1 above but i did get antiglare... |
