well I just dropped off my touch to my local sprint corporate store for service, worn out talk button, still works fine just figure I'll take it in for service. Ask about the diamond coming out tomorrow Aug. 28th. The rep said no its coming out sept. 2nd. The rep next to her heard and said no its not coming out, it got delayed and no one is trained on the phone as yet. so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

its not coming out sept 2nd. everyone is in denial! in the playbook for sprint corporate stores, states that the diamands release date is TBD. shows no where that it will be releasing anytime soon.

Looks like there is leaked information that is leading me to believe that we might not have to wait too much longer for the phone.

#1 stores are getting advertising material
and
#2 the price has changed from the original slide leaked by engadget on 8/19. there is now an additional $50 instant rebate.
