I didn't believe the Sprint comparison chart, but then pdadb.net posted their specs on the VZ Diamond...

any idea what source they used to come up with this? i am a little inclined to say that maybe they used the comparison chart as a source.

Interesting...

I was at best buy and noticed that they have a verizon vogue for $49 and asked why so cheap. The sales person said that it was because the new model is coming.

I asked if it was the diamond, he said that too, but sprints would come much earlier with that phone and that the verizon model would have less memory, but expasion slot for microSD but sprint would come with much more memory, but no expansion slot...

Well... I don't believe that, sprint would not be so dumb... just decided to post cause seems like that its probably true that verizon's diamond will have less memory...

sprints one does not have a micro sd slot though.

Well... in this case, SPRINT is gimping their diamonds... I would rather have VZW version... but since I am not movng anytime soon to verizon... I guess DIAMOND is still not the phone for me... NO SD???? That's pathetic....

while id have liked to see an sd slot, 4gb of memory is plenty

Are you honestly willing to have 1) 400MHz processor (the same as the original HTC Touch); 2) 128 MB RAM; and 3) no accelerometer just so that you can also have an SD slot with Verizon?? i completely understand the desire for an SD slot, but i would not be willing to give up 1) 528 MHz processor 2) 256 RAM and 3) accelerometer that Sprint version will have.

yea... particularly when having 4GB storage is typically more than enough for most users. I only use a 2GB microSD card that has my GPS maps on it and a couple hundred select MP3's for when I don't have service to listen to internet radio. Works fine for me.

What's interesing considering the Verizon version having the same specs as the Touch more or less.. Would be nice to get touchflo 3d and it's ui working on qvga units..
