As per the current information, the HTC Touch Diamond is scheduled to be
release on September 02, 2008. However, we can not assure you that it
will be available in all retail stores by this date. We will do our
best to make this available to all our retail stores.

Rock On !!! Lets see if it makes its way into stores on the 2nd. But I am more inclined to believe the Sept 14th and 21st dates that are being posted on this forum. The Sept 2nd is probably an internal training release date only. Not sure if they will be shipping them out to consumers prior to an official launch.

I just got back from my local sprint store since i went to go pick up a battery for my 800w and i asked the tech when the diamond is coming out and he told me that they wont be getting them in till the 15th. I saw the UPS truck and i was hoping that they were in already but to my luck nothing.

well sorry to say guy's i got an email today saying that the diamond will be available the 14th for direct ship.. hell if i know what that mean's and no date for the retail store so it could be arriving around the 20th.... i cant wait no longer this is driving me crazy already

According to OUR internal ordering system the DIAMOND will be availble on SEPTEMBER 2 also the Touch Pro is not called the Refual or whatever it is however listed as the HTC Shift model number htc 9000. No date listed on it but we do have the manual LOL.

WRONG! the shift is a completely different device from HTC (UMPC). It uses a slimmed down version of windows vista.
