Re: The diamond leaked photo

Rounded and fuller because it has the 1340mah battery instead of the GSM 900mah one, hence it's pudginess.. I'm betting ipod type feel.

Here are alot more comparison pictures of the GSM and CDMA versions; http://www.howardforums.com/showpost...&postcount=172

LOL... yeah it's bigger because of the battery which is a very good thing.... all that extra battery life deliciousness.

Re: The diamond leaked photo

You do know this phone's been out for about 5 days with Telus, right? Not really a leak.

Re: The diamond leaked photo

Now I would like a HTC Victor picture comparison with a Touch Pro. With the rounded off corners, visually the difference in thickness should not be as pronounced.

Re: The diamond leaked photo

Remember that the GSM Diamond is a shade "fatter" than the Touch.

Thus, I don't think it's going to be that much fatter than the CDMA touch.

Re: The diamond leaked photo

I like the fact that they put an actual headphone jack on it(though be it 2.5mm). Hope the Touch Pro has it too.

Re: The diamond leaked photo

I just picked up a Telus CDMA Diamond to replace my Touch and can confirm that it is about the same thickness as the CDMA Touch. I don't have the Touch with me or I would post a picture for everyone.

From what I've read, the Touch and Touch Diamond (CDMA from Telus) are both 14mm thick. The Touch Diamond GSM is 12mm.

Not a big deal to me. And given the poor battery life on the CDMA Diamond, even with the 1340 mAh battery, I'm willing to put up with 2mm thicker.

Re: The diamond leaked photo

How is 14mm fat now? Most HTC phones are over 18mm thick including the HTC Touch Pro. CDMA Touch Diamond is the same thickness as the original HTC Touch.

GSM version of Diamond was incredibly thin (only 11.5mm thick), but it only had a 900mah battery. Front of the CDMA Diamond is definitely a huge improvement over GSM as well with more modern curves. Back of the device is debateable as a lot of people complained about the feel and smudges of the faceted Diamond back, though in terms of style I think it was more eye catching.

CDMA version includes 64MB more RAM and 440mah more battery power than the existing GSM version. There is no question that it is the superior version of the phone.
