So you're right... it did go by another name, but that was probably some name that the company used to talk about the device internally... (like processors get code names before they come out so that they can be referenced without giving away or deciding on marketing too early on)
Raphael is the Touch Pro (i.e. Diamond with keyboard) model. There's a separate forum on here for that machine.

Re: Sprint Diamond manual

yeah, that wasn't what I was trying to say, but you are certainly correct.

I was trying to say that the Herman was the code name for the Sprint Touch Pro and that the Raphael was the Verizon version.

Sprint called their Diamond the "Victor" and Verizon just called it the Diamond. Weirdos.... because Touch Pro and Diamond were too specific I guess...lol.

As with the TV-Out, check the XDA forums for the .cab they made off another device they are using to get these features on their Diamonds and see if it works for ya.

Re: Sprint Diamond manual

UGH! They took away the ability to put the phone is a Roam only mode! I throw my phone into roam only 3 or 4 times a week when I can't get Sprint signal, or have problems with it. I wonder if someone will develop a work around for this.

For those of you who dont like the sprint customizations, soft rest the phone before it starts.

Re: Sprint Diamond manual

Question: With no external memory card... How do you back up the device? When you us a program like SPB Backup, you save the back up to the SD card. Most times I need to restore from a back up is when I have been forced to do a Hard Reset. So how do we back up this phone?

Re: Sprint Diamond manual

Back it up right to the internal storage... internal storage isn't lost in a hard reset unless you specifically choose to.
