Phone is very hot after 1 hour with Sling Player running

75% of the surface of my phone is very hot right now. I swear that I could use this as a hand warmer and I'm not exaggerating. This can't be good for the phone.

I'll eventually switch ROM's, I'm just going to give it a while until they get all the issues fixed. Guess I'll just go easy on the TV viewing for now.

Curious, does Sprint TV cause the same heat problem?

I don't use sprint TV, way too laggy, blurry, and slow. Which lead me to buy SlingBox.

I wouldn't use it either. I'm just curious if other similar applications cause the phone to get so hot.

just surfing the internet caused my sprint diamond to get a bit warm. I'm using juicy's rom now and it does not get as bad. but it still can get warm after about thirty minutes of youtube.

30 minutes is not bad. Mine heats up as soon as I open up slingplayer. I'll wait to upgrade the ROM to a stable one as well. Until then, I really dont think its safe to let it get this hot.

The heat that mine has generated can't be good. (sprint Rom) using sprint nav and opera for over 15-20 minutes.
