I finally saw a video on youtube with a cdma diamond from telus and its WAAAY more responsive than the GSM version.

but I have a feeling Sprint's Diamond will be the ELITE one...

i see, basically sprint usually has it in all theit phones/smart phones. also on your cdma version can you download apps for WM6? like the other guy listed a torrent app from http://www.clickapps.com/moreinfo.ht...59&section=PPC

Yes, it's a Windows Mobile 6.1 device. So anything that ran on the old Touch's or other Windows Mobile 6 devices should run fine. That also includes most stuff that ran on Windows Mobile 2003 or 5 devices as well.

theres a huge difference in resolution tho... the old phones are qvga(mostly 320x240), the diamond is vga 640x480... most apps you might try from the original touch to the diamond would only take up a quarter of the diamonds screen...

This is why i want to learn how to develop software and programing... to really throw together some things for the new resolution and 3d drivers.

I've installed probably 10 apps so far, like uBookReader, Garmin XT, Resco Explorer/Reg Explorer/FTP, etc, and none of them have shown up "funny". Just an FYI. And from my experience with my Dell Axim x51v long ago (which was VGA as well), it didn't have many/any issues with apps either.
