According to the link above, HTC is reporting that the Diamond will begin selling in August through Sprint:

man, i sure hope it isn't that touch dual.
if telus is a diamond carrier im gonna bet on sprint to do the same

I'll bet money that Sprint isn't going to release the touch dual. They would have released that phone a long time ago, and all the evidence is pointing to the the Diamond. It makes no sense that Sprint would release the Dual when the Diamond is already in testing with Sprint. I think it's just someone trying to be a smart-alec, which is fine. But we can see through that, and think logically about what's coming.

I definitely think Sprint will get the Touch Dual. They'll probably mark it around a 99 dollar price point so people that want a PPC have a budget choice or a sexy choice... *shrugs*

The UPC Code on the Best Buy Document is 044476806605 and if you look it up in the UPC Code Database online it shows it as the Diamond!!!!!!!

HOLY CRAP! I just called my local Best Buy and asked them to look up the UPC and tell me how much it rings up as, and she punched it in and said it comes up as $729.99!!!!!

There had better be some hefty discounts on this betch!

recall that the ppc6700 was like I think 699 back two years ago at best buy; but with a new sprint contract, the price dipped to about 199 during the holiday season

Hello all,

Well I see there's still questions if SPRINT will be getting the DIAMOND..

Well the answer is Yes!!

I've been informed by my Regional Manager of the "Highly Anticipated Phone".. I even had him get one for me before drop off date (Demo Phone), I hope he can come thru with that, he did me the fav when the "Touch" came out. Well hope this clears all concerns..
