what happen to my diamond sprint screen?

hi can someone help me, my screen looks like this once in awhile. but if i reboot the phone it is normal again until a few days later. can someone tell me what is wrong with my diamond. only the homescreen and the rest of the tabs look like that. but if you press the sratr menu screen it is normal.
