Sprint Insurance on HTC Touch Diamond
 

Does anybody know if Sprint's Insurance is still exchanging the HTC Touch Diamonds for the Diamond? Or are they offering another phone in it's place since the Diamond was discontinued?

They are still offering diamonds, I checked about 2 days ago, you could make sure yourself by filing a claim without completing it to check what phone you'll get at their website.

If you have the insurance, do you have to pay anything to swap?

The deductible is $100

About a week ago, a Sprint store quoted $120 for a refurbished Diamond to replace an uninsured unit. It came with only a 30 day warrantee.

Well it depends on why you want to swap it, because my phone wouldn't turn on all the time and they gave me a new one for free a few months ago.

If you have the insurance and do not have physical damage on the phone, they will swap to another Diamond for free. They are only giving out Diamonds but if they run out of Diamonds, it looks like they will offer Instinct S30 but I dont know why you would want one of those.

just thought id chime in. i got a replacement from sprint not asurion and it was another diamond.

As of 6/16, Asurion offered me a Palm 120 (I think it's a Pixi?) as an insurance replacement for my diamond. No thanks.

I swapped mine out a few weeks ago and they gave me the option of a Diamond or an Instinct
