any way to disable screen turning on when receiving txts?

Hi, does anyone know how to disable the screen from turning on when receiving a text? an audible notification is just fine. i'm finding that my battery dies super fast because when receiving a text, the screen turns on and because its touchscreen, it never turns back off due to timeout

i'm using S2U2 with the GTX rom on my touch diamond. thanks in advance!

I saw from using my phone alot I can't recall the menu its in but I think its called wake on sms and you can turn it off or on
