Diamond Phone Call Status screen disappears

I have searched everywhere and have not come across anything on this issue, so I am hoping that someone here might have some insight.

After my phone has been running a while, the Call Status screen, the one with the speakerphone, mute, and big red end call button, just dissapears. The only thing I can see is the menu for keypad, otherwise it just shows whatever my last current screen was.

Any idea why this is happening? The only way to fix it is to soft reset the phone. I am wondering if a tweak might have created this problem.

I have the Sprint Diamond with stock rom.
